Welcome to Houston Solutions. Firstly, a little about the founder… Kevin is a highly experienced, multi-disciplined Managing Director with a proven track record of establishing and growing successful International Contact Centre & Business Process Outsourcing Businesses (including, CPP (Card Protection Plan), CableTel ~ NTL (Now Virgin Media), Stream International (Now Convergys) & HCL BPO Services).

His early career includes over 20 years with a leading Irish Bank where he held a number of senior positions in Retail & Corporate Banking in both Northern Ireland & London.

His current role (since 2010) is as Founder and Managing Director of Houston Solutions Ltd, a niche business mentoring ~ advisory consultancy which utilises his extensive experience to assist organisations develop strategies for sustainable growth, secure funding solutions from the most appropriate sources, provide project ~ deal advocacy support, deliver organisational change and introduce business process improvement initiatives.

Through his various leadership roles, Kevin has delivered:

  • Significant growth in revenues, profitability & employee numbers in start-up & problem organisations

Conor Houston – Director  

Conor has provided trusted strategic advice to senior leaders across business, politics, the third sector and entertainment industry.
As a solicitor advocate he represented clients to the Supreme Court of both the UK and Ireland and was involved in many high profile and pioneering cases.
Since 2015 he has acted as a Consultant with the Centre for Democracy & Peace Building based in Belfast developing transformative large-scale programmes including EU Debate NI. 
He also a Director at Houston Solutions a business advisory service through which he has provided strategic advices to dozens of companies, including a global consultancy firm based in London. 
He is Governor of The Irish Times Trust which owns the Irish Times newspaper, providing a governance and influential role within the organisation.
Conor is the inaugural Chair of the Ireland Fund Young Leaders Belfast, which is part of the prestigious Ireland Funds global network. 
Previously, he also represented the legal profession on the Executive Board of the European Young Bar Association and was elected to serve on the Council of the Law Society of Northern Ireland. 
He is a Fellow of the US State Department Rule of Law Programme, Fellow of the British Council Hammamet Conference and represented the UK at the Ship for World Young Leaders Conference in Japan.  Conor was part of the official NI delegation to the White House in 2017 to promote economic and cultural relations between the island of Ireland the US. In October 2017, he joined two Nobel Peace Prize winners on stage to address the One Young World Summit in Bogota, Colombia.

*utilsiing his extensive reputable network to provide solutions as required (legal, economic, corporate communications, etc)
*providing holistic advice & analysis, assessment of impact as issues arise in the Brexit process and producing internal reports as required (such as mapping potential opportunities)
These services would be provided in Conor’s capacity as a ‘Brexit Non-Executive Director’ to your company.  This would be on the basis of a 12 month appointment.
